'Hi Design Shanghai' is the first London exhibition supported by the newly founded Shanghai London China-UK Design Innovation Centre. It features 10 of the most exciting emerging and established Chinese design brands that are exhibiting together for the first time in the UK. Please come to visit us and discover the work of some of most talented designers, including Blue Shanghai White, Design MVW, EY-products, Frank Chou Design Studio, Maxmarko, Song Tao, Wu Haoyu, WUU, Yang Design and Yuue. The exhibition first takes place 23-26 September 2015 at Olympia London, and moves to Shanghai London-China Design Innovation Centre/China Design Centre from 5 Oct-7 Nov.

Shanghai London-China UK Design Innovation Centre Launches in London

The Shanghai London-China UK Design Innovation Centre was launched during the London Design Festival’s opening event for ‘Hi Design Shanghai’ in September. It has been set up by the Shanghai Promotion Centre for City of Design (SPCCD), a non-profit social organisation that provides services for the promotion of the creative design industries in Shanghai, and is overseen by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization. The SPCCD works on the development of Shanghai as a ‘City of Design’ as authorised by the UNESCO ‘Creative City’ (Shanghai) Promotion Office (www.creativecity.sh.cn). The Shanghai London-China UK Design Innovation Centre has two bases – one in London at the China Design Centre and one in Shanghai.

Shanghai London-China UK Design Innovation Center is the second International collaborative project after "Shanghai Florence-Sino Italian Design Exchange Center" managed by Shanghai Promotion Centre for City of Design. It is focusing on providing the comprehensive platform including display, sales, incubator, training, B2B and forum.
